Lidon Group has a very exciting role for an enthusiastic, organised and outgoing individual starting out on a career in Marketing. We have a new vacancy for a junior Marketing professional to join our Marketing team.
This is an on-site role and is based in Lidon Group Support Office in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare with some travel between our sites required; it is important that you have a full and clean Irish driving licence.
Our Marketing team works collaboratively with each other and with our colleagues on all Lidon Group sites and other support office departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- Manage social media accounts and create engaging content.
- Coordinate promotional activities, events, and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with business development and product teams to align marketing strategies.
- Maintain the company's website and online presence.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations.
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Build and maintain relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders.
- The ability to get on and work collaboratively with a range of people and who work well in a team and on your own initiative.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills MS Office, use of computers in general for research etc.
- Are organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience in a busy retail environment is desirable
- Third Level Marketing qualification
- A full clean Irish driving licence

To assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the company's products/services, enhance brand visibility, and support sales objectives. As a member of the Marketing team, you'll provide support to the Marketing department overall, as well directly to Site Managers to help them build business
You will gain valuable insights that will allow you to experience the different areas and aspects of marketing activities across all business units. You will plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, social media, print, and events. Additionally, oversee the creation of marketing materials, monitor campaign performance, and analyse data to assess effectiveness. Strong communication, creativity, and analytical skills are essential to engage customers, stakeholders, and drive brand awareness. The Marketing Executive works closely with the company, Site Managers, sales teams, designers, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and achieve business growth objectives.
The role includes practical experience in social media, print advertising, email marketing, SEO, video creation, administration, community engagement, marketing administration and operations, events planning and execution and reporting and analytics as well a strong emphasis on brand development and promotion.
