About the Role
Newstalk and Off The Ball are now seeking an experienced Marketing & Events executive to promote and bring to life both brands across all consumer touchpoints. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working alongside the digital team, this exciting role will focus on developing and delivering creative and impactful marketing campaigns, identifying and amplifying suitable brand partnerships, creating memorable listener experiences and supporting the social media growth strategy.
You will gain vast experience, working across a number of different marketing disciplines, including but not exclusive to PR, events, sponsorship and partnership management and activation, campaign management, media buying and budget management. You will be a confident, enthusiastic team player, collaborating with the Newstalk and Off The Ball teams, as well as the wider Bauer Media.
Both Newstalk and Off The Ball are dynamic, listener focussed, commercial brands, and as the marketing executive you will strive to achieve new levels of listening, both from an FM and digital audience perspective. This is a very exciting time to join the team, with some ambitious plans for 2025 on the horizon.
What you will do:
- Act as brand guardian for Newstalk and Off The Ball, both of which have rebranded in the last year so evolution is a key focus
- Support and implement 2025 marketing plans for both brands
- Creation and delivery of commercial and marketing partnerships including post campaign analysis
- Work closely with our design team to develop creative assets and campaigns for both brands
- Champion the brands, believe in and display passion for them producing best in class marketing campaigns to support them
- Manage events from intimate bespoke events and outside broadcasts to large scale events, campaigns and activations
- Regularly report on activity and performance against agreed KPIs
- Budget management and reporting
- Work with the Marketing Manager in analysing consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful goals and strategies across the year

- You have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and to deadlines
- You’re a passionate marketer with 2-3 years’ experience in marketing with a focus on above-the-line, events and digital campaigns
- Ability to analyse activity effectiveness, deep dive on performances and clearly articulate results to stakeholders
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with a passion for creativity
