Cabins and Containers Ireland are looking for an experienced Materials Handler to join our growing team, in Oristown, Kells, Co Meath.
Duties involved are;
- Moving cabins throughout yard in segregated laydown areas
- Supplying materials to our trade personnel i.e. Timber, & Furniture etc
- Liaising with site office re cabins dispatched and returning from depot
- Transporting materials in a factory and laydown areas, often using forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Offloading / Loading Cabins and Materials
- Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner
- Inspecting material handling equipment and reporting any required repairs or maintenance
- Disposing of waste materials safely and legally
- Manage weekly stock take of materials
- Perform daily general housekeeping and daily tidying of yard
- Organizing skip, and organizing yard
- Complete Health and Safety paperwork as part of the role
- Site installation work maybe required at times
- Effluent site works required at times
Required skills and qualifications
- Must hold a full clean drivers license
- Experience in Driving FLT's -_ up to 8 ton._
- Previous Experience in materials handling role preferred (Training will be provided)
- C License is a desirable, but not essential.
- Good organization skills is a must
Full Time Permanent Role, overtime will be required at times and paid at overtime rates
Salary DOE
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 17.30pm
Friday 08.00 - 15.30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
