Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of plumbers, apprentices, and laborers.
- Coordinate and schedule daily work assignments.
- Ensure all work is performed according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Project Manager.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Order and manage materials and equipment required for the project.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, other trades, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues.
- Perform complex calculations and planning for unique or large jobs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid plumbing license and relevant certifications.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Experience with plumbing systems in [mention specific types of projects, e.g., new construction, commercial, etc..
