Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator who can take a set of fabrication drawings and independently produce assemblies to specification. While formal qualifications are an advantage, they are not essential — proven skill and experience are what matter most.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication and site drawings with accuracy
- Fabricate and assemble components for balcony systems and related steelwork
- Perform MIG and/or MMA welding to a high standard
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Maintain quality control and attention to detail on all work produced
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with occasional site work if required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in metal fabrication (structural steel experience preferred)
- Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings
- Strong MIG welding skills (MMA welding an advantage)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Manual Handling and other relevant certs are a bonus — training can be provided
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Valid driving licence an advantage
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00–17:00
- Friday: 08:00–16:30
