Shoreline Hotel, a 35-bedroom beachfront property in Donabate, is currently recruiting a reliable and responsible Night Porter to join our team. This is an ideal role for someone with previous night experience in hospitality or security - or for someone with a strong work ethic looking for a stable night shift position in a peaceful seaside setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee hotel security and guest assistance during night hours
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure all areas are secure
- Handle late check-ins/early check-outs and assist guests with any overnight needs
- Set up/clean public areas and function rooms for the next day
- Prepare and serve early breakfast if required
- Work closely with the reception and housekeeping teams
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a night porter, concierge, or in a similar hospitality/security role preferred
- Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure
- Ability to work alone and take initiative
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility for weekday and weekend night shifts
