The Twin Trees Hotel is seeking a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our Night team.
This role is mainly back of house and responsible for preparing the hotel for the next day, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring resident safety, and assisting with early morning service preparation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with good initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include resetting and cleaning the function room to a high standard, preparing the breakfast area for morning service, and ensuring the secure closure of hotel facilities such as the kitchen and laundry. The role also involves conducting internal and external security and fire checks, managing waste and cleanliness across all areas.
Working Hours:
Night shifts, typically from 10:00pm to 7:00am (subject to rota)
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Trustworthy and discreet with a focus on safety and comfort
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Flexible with hours and available to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
