We are excited to recruit a passionate Night Porter to join our team here at Waterford Castle Hotel and Resort.This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional to grow and progress in their career.
The successful candidate will provide prompt and efficient service, and security to guests during the night, in line with Waterford Castle Hotel and Resort service standards.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
· Responsible for efficient running and the security of the hotel and safety of all guests, during the night period
· Ensure resident bar guests are served and the bar is closed efficiently, and remaining guests are assisted out.
· Assist guests with all requests in relation to luggage/porterage.
· Conduct comprehensive security and fire walks ensuring exits are secure and fire equipment is in place.
· Ensure all back of house areas are thoroughly cleaned – vacuumed, mopped, cleared of buildup, ready for morning deliveries.
· Ensure all public areas and bathrooms standards are maintained to highest level during night hours.
· Ensure all corridors are clear from trays and debris and all breakfast room service cards are collected.
· Work closely with Reception team and ensure handover tasks are complete.
· Anticipate and exceed guest expectations in accordance with Waterford Castle service standards.
· Arrange fulfilment of customer services by supplying limited services in the following areas: Room Service, Concierge, Housekeeping
· Carry out any additional tasks requested by Duty Manager and ensure detailed shift handover is complete.

· Must have previous experience
