Colliers Funeral Directors are looking to recruit an Office Administrator/Secretary on a part-time basis to join their team.
The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the operation in the office at our funeral home in Bray. The working days are Monday and Friday (9.00am-5.00pm) and Saturday (9.00am-2.00pm).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answering all telephone calls and dealing with people in a courteous manner.
- Scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
- Perform administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, and creation of funeral stationary.
- Maintain confidential files and records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to manage distressing and stressful situations with sensitivity and care.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and understanding of Microsoft suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Always respectful of the deceased and their families.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organised.
- Fluent English is essential.
Education and Experience:
- Experience is necessary, however exceptional candidates will be considered and training will be provided.
- A good knowledge of Bray and the surrounding area, up to and including Dublin City, is extremely desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 per week
