We are a well-established, family-run florist known for our fresh, daily-arranged flowers and exceptional customer care. From thoughtful everyday bouquets to elegant wedding and corporate designs, we take great pride in what we do. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to support both our studio operations and customer service.
This role is based at our floral studio, located between Straffan and Maynooth. Please note that there is no access to public transport, so having your own car is essential.
The Role
We’re looking for someone with great attention to detail, a friendly and professional manner, and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a bit of variety in their work – from supporting our accounts function to helping ensure our customers receive the beautiful service we’re known for .*** The Start time for this role is 8.30am***
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Handle incoming calls and emails from customers with warmth and professionalism.
- Order Processing: Take and manage customer orders with accuracy, capturing all required details.
- Delivery Scheduling: Coordinate deliveries to ensure they run smoothly and on time.
- Team Liaison: Communicate effectively with our florists to make sure orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Corporate Client Care: Maintain good relationships with our regular business clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Stock Monitoring: Keep an eye on supplies and place orders when needed.
- Accounts Admin:
- Use Xero to manage invoices and payments
- Assist with accounts payable and general bookkeeping
- Support with payroll tasks where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in office administration or a customer support role
- Solid experience with Xero accounting software (this is essential)
- Familiarity with accounts payable and payroll
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- An interest in flowers or creative industries is a bonus
