About the Role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the business, overseeing all Workshop activities, managing performance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in operational strategy, people management, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple projects
- Ensure all projects meet programme, cost, and quality targets
- Oversee workshop personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Champion health & safety and ensure compliance with Irish regulations
- Manage project budgets, resources, and procurement schedules
- Support tendering, planning, and project start-up phases
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal departments
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to project managers and workshop staff
- Workshop Quality Control & Equipment Management
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar senior construction or operations management role
- Deep understanding of Irish building regulations, safety standards, and industry practices
- Excellent organisational, planning, and leadership skills
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- A hands on approach and a can-do attitude
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel when required
Desirable:
- Degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with public sector, residential, commercial, or civils projects in Ireland
- IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety certification
