OTC Pharmacy Assistant – Full or Part-Time

About Us
Established in 2007, Glasson Pharmacy is a fast-paced, customer-focused community pharmacy located in the heart of Glasson Village, just outside Athlone. We pride ourselves on stocking a wide range of products, with a strong focus on Irish brands and quality service. We’re now looking for a friendly, motivated and hard working OTC Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer care at all times
- Provide advice to customers on OTC products
- Refer customers to pharmacists when needed
- Optimise stock levels and ensure accurate pricing
- Maintain visually appealing and tidy shelves
- Receive deliveries and update stock on the till system
- Process invoices and handle statements
- Support daily cleaning and upkeep of the store
- Operate tills and handle cash confidently
- Open and close the shop as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous OTC or retail experience is an advantage (training provided)
- Knowledge of skincare and/or supplements is a plus
- Team player with a positive, helpful attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Reliable and detail-oriented
