We are currently seeking a very Experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team in Head Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with our company's standards. This role involves working on a variety of projects including hospitality, commercial, and refurbishment work. If you would like to be considered for the team, please get in touch.
Job Description:
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes, sanding, and cleaning.
- Apply primers, undercoats, varnishes, and finishes to a range of surfaces (walls, ceilings, woodwork, metal, etc.).
- Mix and match paint colours and textures to achieve desired results.
- Hang wallpaper or other wall coverings, ensuring precision and cleanliness.
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements.
- Follow company procedures for time tracking, materials usage, and health & safety compliance.
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as required after inspections.
