Role overview
This cross-functional Paralegal role supports both our Privacy and Legal teams, with a 50/50 split of responsibilities. You will assist with reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements—including Data Protection Agreements—while also supporting global privacy operations and compliance projects.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented, business-savvy legal professional who enjoys variety, collaboration, and the challenge of supporting a dynamic, international business.
How you’ll make an impact ?
- Draft, review, revise, and support negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts, including:
- Data processing agreements
- Marketing, influencer, public relations, and advertising purchase agreements
- SaaS, technology, analytics, research, and development agreements
- Payments, licensing, product integration, and events
- Recruiting, consulting, and other general vendor agreements
- Help maintain templates, playbooks, and contract lifecycle workflows
- Review new laws, regulations and decisions, and prepare briefings for the team.
- Provide administrative and project support to global Privacy program operations.
We could be a match if :
- You have a law degree from a top accredited university and/or a privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM) and/or paralegal training.
- 2–4 years of experience in a legal role (in-house or at a firm), ideally with exposure to both contracts and privacy/data protection.
- Fluency in French is a strong plus.
- You are digitally literate, preferably with a proficiency in Google Workspace.
- You are comfortable with and interested in applying AI tools in your everyday work, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Zoom AI Companion to automate repetitive tasks and improve output quality such as in drafting documents, generating structured outputs and improving workflows.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative, pragmatic, and proactive approach to working with internal stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, global environment.
