We are seeking a Part Time Accommodation Assistant to join the team at the Keadeen Hotel.
Duties
Guest Room Servicing
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms daily to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, vacuum floors, dust surfaces, and replenish amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or damage to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.
Public Areas & Hygiene
- Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, staircases, lifts, and guest lounges.
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented throughout the day.
Linen & Supplies
- Manage linen trolley and ensure stock of towels, linen, and guest supplies.
- Report low stock levels and request replenishments as needed.
- Assist in laundry duties when required (collecting, sorting, or folding linen).
Guest Interaction & Support
- Greet guests courteously and respond to any requests or queries in a helpful manner.
- Inform the appropriate department of any guest complaints or feedback.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Fire Safety policies.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with training and company guidelines.
- Wear the correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
General
- Attend departmental briefings and training sessions as required.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and support colleagues.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment
- High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
- Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- Shift-based role including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Uniform and training provided
