With offices in Ireland & in North America, Eolas International provides actionable insights to Quality & Consumer Technical Insights personnel within global CPG & healthcare companies. Our focus is to assist our clients improve their Consumers’ Quality Experience. Our Project Managers in Ireland and the US manage our global network of retail auditors and researchers to deliver high quality and forward-thinking solutions to our clients across the globe. Our IT teams develop customized solutions for data capture and reporting to bring added value solutions to our clients.

How do we do it?
We support our global clients toImprove their Consumers’ Quality Experience across all consumer relevant steps of the supply chain through a combination of the following services:
· Product & Retail Intelligence - Our vast researcher network in over 120 countries conduct 1,000’s of retail audits every year based on client standards. Using our Qual-X Technology, data from these audits is reported in a variety of ways depending on client needs. Our researchers can also purchase products from any market – either in store or through E-commerce - and ship to our clients for further evaluation or to Eolas laboratories for analytical testing.
· Consumer & Product Experience – Through our Qual-X technology our Consumer Insights Team recruit and engage real consumers all over the world to understand their expectations, experiences and interaction with our client & competitor products and the impact of these experiences.
· Laboratory & Sensory Research - Within our LabSens division our Analytical, Sensory & Proficiency Services work closely with our clients Quality and Technical personnel. We are the largest independent provider of Sensory services in Ireland, whilst our Proficiency service is the newest addition to our LabSens division and is experiencing considerable growth.

We are currently recruiting for Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with strong administration skills.
What would you do?
As Accounts Assistant you would work closely with the finance manager in providing support across all aspects of the finance function. This role is critical in supporting Eolas’ growth plans
The key responsibilities include
- Financial Accounting:
o Enter Supplier Invoices and reconcile to statements in preparation for payment
o Prepare supporting schedules for monthly sales invoices to customers
o Prepare and post monthly journals to SAGE
- Banking:
o Weekly payment to our international researchers and Monthly payment to Suppliers
o Monthly Bank Reconciliations for all bank accounts
- Other ad hoc Projects and Admin tasks that will arise from time to time
The successful candidate must:
· Have with 3-5 years experience as an accounts assistant in an SME business
· Possess strong Analytical Skills.
· Have effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
· Have an ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
· Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (SAGE would be an advantage).
The role is based in our office in Little Island, Cork
