Experienced Bartender Wanted
We’re on the lookout for an experienced bartender to join our friendly, down-to-earth team at our much-loved local. We serve drinks only, with a loyal bunch of regulars and a healthy mix of passing tourists — weekends can be lively, but there are also quieter moments where a good chat and a warm smile go a long way.
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 1 year of experience behind the bar in a similar setting
- Be confident working both a busy shift and a slower one (and know how to spot when a local needs a top-up or a chat)
- Know their way around a keg (in old school fashion ours live under the counter)
- Be reliable, personable, and able to build easy rapport with customers
Weekend availability is essential, though we believe everyone deserves a breather so we do offer flexibility.
Hours range from 12 to 20 per week, with scope for more during the busy summer and festive seasons. Closing shifts are part of the deal, so your own transport is a plus.
