Weekend Role – Personal Healthcare Assistant (Howth)
I'm looking for a person to assist me with daily tasks in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone living near the Sutton Howth area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support mobility and transfers using a hoist.
- Assist with personal care (hoisting, bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Assist with morning routines and exercises.
- Help with meal preparation and general daily tasks.
- Driving service users car.
Schedule & Flexibility:
Saturday 8:00am - 18:00 (10 hours) = €153.90 (minimum)
Sunday 8:00am - 18:00 (10 hours) = €230.90 (minimum)
20 hours per weekend. = Total €384.80
* with potential for additional hours.
* Options to discuss schedules based on availability. e.g 3 weekends per month etc
What We're Looking For:
- Someone reliable and punctual
- Fluent in English
- Legal right to work in Ireland and travel in EU without extra visas
- Full Irish driver’s license (25+)
- Interested in travelling abroad with service user (holidays, work trips etc)

Compensation and Terms:
- Standard hourly rate: €15.39 - €17.11, with annual increases
- Rates before 8am and after 8pm: €19.24 per hour
- Sunday rate: €23.09 per hour
- Public Holiday rate: €30.78 per hour
- Opportunity for consistent, or flexible hours
Note - this is a HSE provider funded position, through the Irish Wheelchair Association Leader Service.
