Due to the continued growth of our business we have a position available for a full time retail assistant to join our team in our pet shop based in Letterkenny
Job description;
- Learning about our wide variety of products and advising and assisting our customers needs
- Ensure compliance with all processes in regards to our till system, handling of cash, assigned back office tasks, as well as POS guidelines
- Ensure full product availability on the shelves, minimize inventory discrepancies, and maintain high inventory quality and ensuring all products are clearly priced
- Ensuring the shop is an attractive, clean and tidy environment to create a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first
Requirements;
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience
- Efficient and have excellent attention to detail
- Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to communicate well within a team
- Friendly and personable demeanor
- Flexibility; our business operates 7 days a week so you will be required to work 5 out of the 7 days
- Excellent customer service skills
- This is a physical job which requires some heavy lifting so the ideal candidate will be physically fit
