Pharmacy O'Regan Tallaght are currently recruiting a Qualified Pharmacy Technician. 32 / 40 hours per week, 4 / 5 days, no late nights, Sunday's or bank holidays. Previous experience in an Irish pharmacy essential.
The Pharmacy Technician will work as part of a reliable team, supporting our Pharmacists dispensing prescriptions, delivering expert advice and working in a fast paced environment. With a customer led approach to ensure customers remain at the heart of everything we do.
Key responsibilities
- Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Gather and prepare medication for dispensing under the supervision of the Pharmacist
- Process and tracking of claims
- Preparation of blister packs.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering medicines.
- Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
- Provide proactive reliable customers service and advice to customers on OTC when required.
The ideal candidate will:
- Pharmacy Technician experience in a busy Irish Pharmacy.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Must be personable, reliable and punctual.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Be organised and motivated
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
- Experience with McLernons an advantage
