Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Plant Driver to join our team. The successful candidate must hold a valid Articulated (Artic) license and possess the necessary tickets to operate MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms), forklifts, and HIABs. Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate articulated vehicles to transport heavy plant machinery and equipment to and from construction sites.
- Load and unload plant machinery using HIAB, forklift, or other lifting equipment as required.
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks in line with company and legal standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
- Assist with on-site movement and positioning of machinery when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all transport and site safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the transport office and site teams.
- Perform occasional general duties on construction sites, when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Artic (CE) driving license.
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) ticket.
- Forklift (Counterbalance and/or Telehandler) ticket.
- HIAB (Lorry Loader) ticket.
- Good understanding of transport and plant safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to health & safety procedures.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working on construction sites.
- Knowledge of plant machinery and construction equipment.
Rate of pay - Depending on Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.00-€19.00 per hour
