POTTERY TEAM LEADER | €16.14 per hour
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 8th January 2026.
The Pottery Studio is a very popular, creative environment which provides a wide range of pots for our guests to paint and take home as a reminder of their time at Center Parcs.
We are looking for an experienced leader to assist the Facilities Management team in delivering a safe and quality operation within our Pottery Studio.
You will deputise in the absence of the Pottery Assistant Manager as deemed necessary for the business. You will assist in maintaining a high standard of guest care, set high standards in building management and motivate and develop team members. You will also take responsibility for driving and developing demand and further opportunities to enhance the commercial management.
Other duties include:
- To take responsibility for staff and product development and the recording of staff hours, holidays and sickness
- To maintain the highest standard of guest care, building standards and cleanliness in line with company procedures
- Day to day supervision of staff ensuring the smooth running of all facilities
- Deal with guest queries and complaints when they arise as highlighted on the guest’s questionnaires, comment forms and letters
- Develop and manage demand and capacity during School peak / off peak programmes
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 8th January 2026.
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.

Essential requirements:
- Computer literacy
- Supervisory experience in managing team and volume activities
Desirable requirements:
- Previous work experience in a Pottery studio or with ceramics
- Knowledge of Elite computer programme (leisure booking systems)
- Experience of the leisure industry
- Excellent people skills
