Keltech are currently recruiting for a Pressure & Leak Tester to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in welding, plumbing, or leak testing—or for someone eager to learn and develop their skills in a technical, quality-focused role.
About the Role:
As a Pressure & Leak Tester, you will be responsible for testing welded components to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. The role involves performing pressure tests and leak detection on a variety of products. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, but experience in TIG welding, leak testing, or plumbing would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out pressure testing and leak testing on welded components.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure all products meet required specifications.
- Identify and report any faults or non-conformances during testing.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of testing and quality checks.
- Assist with other tasks as required within the workshop environment.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with:
✅ Previous experience in TIG welding (desirable, but not essential – training will be provided)
✅ Experience with leak testing or plumbing work (an advantage)
✅ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
✅ Good practical and problem-solving skills
✅ A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques and processes
✅ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
