We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Pro-Shop Assistant with a passion for golf to join our team at the Ring of Kerry Golf Course.
About the Role:
As a Pro-Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining shop cleanliness, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Pro-Shop and surrounding facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly and professional service to members and guests
Open and close the Pro-Shop as scheduled (7 am–3 pm or 1 pm–7 pm)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pro-Shop, changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers
Clean and organize golf buggies, caddies, and rental equipment
Assist with merchandising (stocking, pricing, receiving, inventory)
Make tee-time bookings in person and over the phone
Assist with golf outings and tournaments
Support Head Golf Professional and Management as needed
Marshal, start, and coordinate with outside services when required
Requirements:
Customer service experience preferred
Basic golf knowledge and understanding of course etiquette
Strong communication and people skills
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Fluent in English; friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Must be punctual, trustworthy, and legally eligible to work in Ireland
Previous experience is an advantage
Working Hours:
7-day operation
Shifts: 7 am–3 pm or 1 pm–7 pm
