Job Overview:
As the successful candidate in this role, you will complete the final sub-assembly of our Neuro Medical Devices. Documentation to ensure our customers can continue to rely on our life enhancing diagnostic products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
- Comply with procedures for each work step and ensure product meets quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain and ensure training records are kept up to date at all times.
- Use calibration and test equipment while ensuring that all work documentation is completed as per Good Documentation Practices.
- Ensure product meets quality standards and specifications
- Inform Team Lead or Supervisor of any problems regarding the quality of the product, the equipment in use or paperwork associated with the job.
- Carry out light preventative maintenance activities.
- Check that all production equipment has been calibrated or maintained before use.
- Ensure hourly/daily output targets are met
- Report any issues/damage to equipment to the Manufacturing Engineering Department.
- Support Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Departments in problem solving and Continuous Improvement activities, where required.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ensure your own health, safety & welfare and that of any other person who may be affected by your actions or omissions while at work.
- Report any unsafe situations to Support Team.
Education and/or Experience:
- Leaving Cert or equivalent level of education.
- 1 to 2 years related experience on a Production line in a Medical Device or Electronics environment.
- Must be computer literate and able to use MS Office applications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to learn new processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
