The Role
As a Production Operative at TE Laboratories (TelLab), you will play a key role in the manufacturing and handling of chemical products. This hands-on position involves tasks such as filling, drumming, labelling, and packaging of chemicals, as well as assisting in stock control and equipment maintenance. You will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
Working within the Production Department, you will collaborate with a team to meet production targets, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to the overall organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse and production areas. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Chemical Manufacturing & Filling – Drumming off chemicals, repouring from IBCs, and labelling products.
- Stock Control – Assisting with stocktaking and inventory management.
- Equipment Maintenance – Ensuring production equipment is properly maintained.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Following and updating risk assessments for warehouse and production areas.
- Housekeeping & Organization – Keeping production and warehouse spaces clean and efficient.
- Team Collaboration – Actively participating in team meetings to enhance communication and workflow.
- Other Duties – Supporting additional tasks and departments as required.

Previous experience in an industrial or chemical role is desirable but not essential.
