Job Title: Production Planner
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: Ballymaguire Foods
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to join our Production Planning team, who will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules for soups and intermediates, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling: Develop weekly schedules considering forecasts, order history, and plant capabilities.
- Daily Production Planning: Prepare and distribute daily production plans and paperwork.
- Collaboration and Process Improvement: Work with production managers to streamline processes and participate in improvement initiatives.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate Excel files and production records.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report daily KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Team Support: Assist the production team with daily tasks and foster a collaborative environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Production Planner, preferably in FMCG.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with production planning software is a plus.
- Competencies: Strong organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and teamwork orientation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; CPIM certification is advantageous.
