At Newbridge Foods we are seeking to recruit General Operatives / Production Operatives for our Newbridge based factory.
Full-time, permanent job role with an immediate start date.
Previous experience in food manufacturing or factory work would be an advantage.
Summary outline of job description:
The role is within the main Production plant you will be working as part of a team of 6-8 people on a production line.
Tasks:
-Operating various production machinery,
- filling the machines with ingredients
- watching and checking the quality of the various production batches.
- Operating PPT
- Adherence to strict Food Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.
Hours of work:
Typically the shifts are 8hrs or occasionally may be 10hr or 12 hour shifts depending on production demands.
Usual shift start at 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
(Shift start and finish times may vary given the nature of food production)
Previous work experience in a factory setting would be a distinct advantage.
In addition you must physically fit and be willing to carry out various manual handling tasks. You must also have the ability to stand at a machine/work station through the day.
