Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Lead competitive bidding, negotiation, and supplier engagement strategies to secure best-in-class value and quality.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term procurement goals.
Procurement Operations & Cost Optimization
- Manage the full procurement cycle, including requisition processing, purchase order creation, and timely delivery coordination.
- Support the development and execution of cost-saving initiatives and procurement strategies.
Digital Procurement & Data Analytics
- Contribute to the implementation of digital tools and data analysis to streamline procurement processes and enhance decision-making.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing data, and procurement documentation.
Inventory & Supply Chain Continuity
- Monitor inventory levels and vendor performance to ensure uninterrupted production and alignment with customer and engineering requirements.
Compliance, Quality & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, quality standards, and ethical procurement practices.
- Maintain complete and accurate records for audits and quality assurance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers to resolve procurement-related inquiries and ensure clear communication.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify and lead improvement projects that drive efficiency, cost savings, and innovation in line with MAFACT and Magna principles.
Customer & Quality Focus:
- Drive a culture of customer-focused problem-solving to enhance satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, with 3–5 years of progressive experience in procurement or purchasing operations
- Microsoft Office knowledge Excel and Word; familiarity with digital procurement platforms and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Strong organized and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skilled in problem-solving, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
