We produce over 250 fresh, healthy, and convenient products for leading Irish retailers—from leafy salads and coleslaws to stir fries, dips, and prepared vegetables. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with growers to ensure top-quality crops are produced for Nature’s Best
- Act as the primary link between our supply base and our internal production and quality teams
- Be present on the ground when supply or quality issues arise
- Monitor and ensure all crop protection and pesticide usage complies with limits and regulations
- Lead supplier visits and maintain strong, proactive relationships with growers
- Support the quality assurance and production teams through on-site training and technical expertise
- Train QA and production teams across all shifts on raw material specifications and concerns
- Communicate clearly with suppliers and customers regarding supply, quality, and specification updates
- Contribute to and help execute product development and marketing plans
- Collaborate across departments to ensure only the best ingredients reach our customers
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
- Solid knowledge and experience in the fresh produce sector
- Familiarity with retail quality and safety standards
- Strong relationship-building skills with both suppliers and internal teams
- Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead discussions on technical matters
- A team player who can also work independently and proactively
- A full driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed
- Spanish language skills are a strong advantage
Travel Requirements:
This role involves regular travel across Europe—primarily to the UK, Spain, and Italy, sometimes at short notice. Candidates must be comfortable with a mobile and hands-on working style.
