Are you an experienced and customer focused Hotel Receptionist looking for a change? Then Hayes Hotel in the heart of Thurles may be for you. You must have previous receptionist experience within a hotel environment in order to potentially join our front office team on a Full Time basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Efficiently and professionally check in and out guests using Guest Diary.
- Liaise with other departments regarding special requests i.e. dinner reservations, dietary requirements, room service etc.
- Correctly post all necessary charges to guest rooms.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties with optimal efficacy.
- Address and inform Duty Manager of guest queries, suggestions or complaints.
- Efficient and professional hand over of duties before shift change.
The ideal candidate:
- At least 2 years experience in a busy 3/4- star hotel reception.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual with a strong commitment to high standards and excellent customer care.
- Expert Interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a team environment.
