Summary of Role:
The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing bookings, coordinating with housekeeping to ensure room readiness, responding to booking inquiries for the Townhouse and the restaurant, hosting guests arriving at the restaurant and assisting with any guest needs to ensure a smooth, warm and professional welcome.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following the standard procedures.
- Manage reservations for the Townhouse and the restaurant and update guest records accurately in the system.
- Respond promptly to guest queries in person, over the phone, or by email.
- Assist with guest requests, including wake-up calls or luggage support.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel, restaurant, wine bar and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved quickly.
- Monitor and maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Follow all front desk procedures and safety protocols.
- Host restaurant guests and escort them to their tables.
- Assist the restaurant by using OpenTable to manage and update reservations in real time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €29,000.00-€30,800.00 per year
