Title of Post: Research Fellow in Physiotherapy for People with Multiple Sclerosis
JOB SYNOPSIS
Under the direction of the PI, the Research Fellow will facilitate the achievement of the objectives and deliverables for the Irish partner of this PLATINUMS consortium. Under the direction of the PI, the Research Fellow will test the telerehabilitation system on a small group of patients derived from MS Ireland to examine feasibility, including facilitating ethics development and approval, participant recruitment, and installation of the system, conducting reliability and validity testing according to standardized instructions, facilitating coordination of standardized protocols for assessment and treatment, delivering treatment protocols via the telerehabilitation system, facilitation of data collection, processing, management, and analysis, facilitation of participant adherence, facilitation of cost-effectiveness analysis, and write-up, publication, and dissemination of project findings. These objectives will be successfully completed within the 36-month budget period, and the contract will end at the completion of the funding period.
