Work within a small team, reporting to the Store Manager on all aspects of the day to day activities.
- Day-to-day counter sales in the Shop.
- Regular stocking of shelves/counters/fridges as required.
- Responsible for handling deliveries and storage of these.
- Assist in Sales & Marketing of the Shop and any promotions.
- Dealing with Supplier Representatives when requested to do so.
- On occasions you may be required to open/close the shop.
- General Housekeeping of the Shop Unit and Common Areas on a daily basis.
- Implementation and compliance of all policies and procedures for the Shop.
- Deal with customer queries/complaints in a compliant and courteous manner.
- Date checking and stock rotation.
- To undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time
A mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts, based on a flexible weekly roster.
The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience and a basic working knowledge of wines, craft beers and spirits. Off-sales alcohol experience would be a distinct advantage .
Candidate must be able to learn and adhere to company operating procedures, and be comfortable with customer focus and always presenting the store as per training.
