We are currently seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team part-time and support our continued growth.
Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you'll be the face of our showroom — helping customers to find the right furniture for their need, offering design advice, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, enjoys interior design, and thrives in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and guide them toward suitable products
- Provide detailed product knowledge, including materials, sizes, and customization options
- Process sales and handle POS transactions efficiently
- Maintain showroom appearance — tidiness, stock levels, and merchandising
- Follow up with customer inquiries and assist with order tracking or delivery coordination
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and digital team for promotions and events
- Stay up to date on product ranges and store offers
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience (furniture or home interiors preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A friendly, confident, and professional manner
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer tools
- Availability to work weekend (Saturday) and flexible shifts
- Interest or background in furniture, home décor, or interior design is a plus
