Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the Sweetpea customer experience. Your friendly and helpful approach will ensure every customer feels welcome and supported as they shop for little ones. You’ll help maintain a beautifully merchandised store and assist in keeping things running smoothly each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer exceptional customer service
- Assist with styling and gift suggestions based on customer needs
- Operate the till and handle transactions confidently and accurately
- Replenish and tidy stock on the shop floor
- Keep the store clean, organised, and visually appealing
- Help maintain fitting rooms and ensure stock is sized and folded correctly
- Wrap gifts beautifully and promote our loyalty and gift voucher offers
- Support promotional campaigns and seasonal displays
- Handle deliveries and unpack new stock
- Create a fun, friendly atmosphere for children and families
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 years or older
- A cheerful, friendly, and approachable personality
- A genuine interest in children’s fashion and gifting
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping the store looking its best
- A team player who’s also comfortable working independently
- Flexible and reliable, with a can-do attitude
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential – training provided

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €13.50-€14.20 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
