Job Overview:
Simpson Property Maintenance Ltd is seeking a fully qualified, RGI-registered plumber to join our dedicated maintenance team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dublin, with occasional travel to surrounding counties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs, maintenance, and installations of domestic heating systems, appliances, drainage, and water supplies.
- Adhere to company procedures and comply with all relevant health & safety regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as leaks and heating problems, in both residential and commercial properties.
- Replace and service gas boilers, cylinders, tanks, and related equipment.
- Travel between various job sites (residential homes and commercial premises) during the day. No site work required.
- Provide support with any additional duties as assigned by management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heating systems.
- Accurately document all work performed and provide solutions for any encountered issues.
- Plan and execute work efficiently to ensure high productivity.
- Take responsibility for health and safety on-site, ensuring proper PPE is worn at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- National Craft Certificate.
- RGI accredited (essential).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong technical proficiency.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent fault-finding ability and technical troubleshooting.
- In-depth understanding of general plumbing and heating systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Proven awareness of health and safety protocols and quality systems.
- Full, clean driving licence.
