Galway Plant and Tool Hire (GPT) is a one of Ireland’s largest and most successful plant and commercial vehicle hire specialists. We have 8 branches nationwide, serving the needs of both public and private sector customers.
GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We currently have a Rigid Truck Driver position based in our Galway depot.
In this role you will be:
- Delivering and collecting a range of equipment from sites across Ireland.
- Carrying out daily checks on your vehicle.
- Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Health and safety conscious in a fun, fast-paced environment.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Full C or Class 2 Licence, Digi Tacho Card and all up to date CPC cards minimum requirement.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling (desirable)
- Good communication skills
- Team player, personable with good customer service skills
- Previous experience loading and unloading of access equipment and teleporters would be an advantage.
