We are currently recruiting a Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team
The Job :
- Perform daily walk around checks every morning and record all defects.
- Report to management for daily schedule and job status.
- Liaise with batcher to ensure that the load is correct against the customers’ orders.
- Drive concrete mixer to and from each project site in a punctual and responsible manner.
- Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to execute and respect customer’s property.
- Evaluate site conditions and work with contractors/site managers/customers to park or set up the truck properly.
- Handle customer issues on delivery effectively and courteously.
- Present a professional, customer service oriented attitude and display respect to customers at all times.
- Perform loading and unloading duties while following company/job site policies and procedures.
- Properly clean drum after each load and wash down chutes after every load.
- Perform routine maintenance such as daily oiling and greasing of the truck. Maintain cleanliness of the truck and all associated equipment.
Requirements:
- Must have a full clean C license and up to date driver qualification card and CPC modules.
- Minimum of 1-2 years truck driving experience
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to communicate in English (both oral and written)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €36,000.00-€41,000.00 per year
