The Storyteller is a character-led bar with great food, drinks and atmosphere — and we’re looking for a smart, creative and organised Sales & Marketing Executive to help us grow bookings, create engaging content, and keep our brand active and relevant online.
This is a part-time hybrid role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who knows how to manage bookings, create buzz on social, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookings Management
- Manage and respond to inbound booking enquiries (email, phone, DMs)
- Oversee and optimise the OpenTable system — availability, slots, special notes, etc.
- Create and maintain booking packages for groups, parties, events
- Marketing & Content
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook) — content planning, posting, responding to messages
- Create high-quality content (photo, video, copywriting) in line with the tone of The Storyteller
- Promote key events, menu launches, live music nights and group offerings
- Keep listings, bios, and info up to date across platforms (Google, OpenTable, social, etc.)
- Coordination & Growth
- Work with management on monthly marketing priorities
- Monitor inboxes and coordinate with operations to ensure bookings are delivered to a high standard
- Track performance (follower growth, engagement, bookings conversion) and report back
What We're Looking For
- Experience in hospitality sales/marketing, or a similar bookings/content coordination role
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Comfortable with tools like OpenTable, Canva, Instagram, Facebook Business Suite
- Confident creating short-form content (Reels, Stories, posts)
- Organised, responsive and able to manage their own time effectively
- Friendly and professional approach to dealing with guests and team members
