The successful candidate will be working full time at our busy trade counter, duties to include serving customers, taking payments, preparing orders, restocking and general upkeep of the shop area.
Training will be provided, but some knowledge of engineering/welding and/or previous experience in the retail side of hardware or trade counter work would be essential for this position.
A good Level of English would be essential as this is a busy trade counter and it will be necessary to understand product descriptions
Basic computer skills would be necessary for this position.
We provide on the job training, and most of our previous employees in this role have gone on to work in engineering or further education in the engineering sector.
This is not a summer job, and we are ideally looking for a full time worker with knowledge of our product range and/or direct sales experience. The job also requires picking and processing of orders and warranty claims. when the shop is quiet.
