As a Sales Associate at Golden Kingdom of Kerry, you will be the face of the salon, providing outstanding customer service while promoting and selling our sunbed services and related products. Your role will focus on building client relationships, helping customers select the best tanning options, and ensuring a positive, memorable experience for every client that walks through our doors. You will also play a key role in maintaining the salon’s clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist clients in selecting tanning packages or services based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on sunbed usage, safety, and aftercare products.
- Ensure clients understand tanning times, proper sunbed etiquette, and how to achieve the best results.
- Address customer concerns or questions with a solution-focused attitude.
- Sales and Product Promotion
- Promote and upsell sunbed packages, memberships, lotions, and other tanning-related products.
- Recommend products that complement clients' tanning needs, such as skincare items, sunscreen, and tan-enhancing lotions.
- Assist in meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) through effective product recommendations and promotions.
- Keep customers informed about ongoing promotions, special offers, and new products available in the salon.
- Client Relationship Building
- Establish strong, positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and brand loyalty.
- Provide personalized service by remembering clients’ preferences and making tailored recommendations.
- Follow up with clients when necessary to ensure satisfaction and offer additional services.
- Salon Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing sunbeds and common areas to maintain a hygienic and comfortable environment for clients.
- Keep salon products (lotions, oils, towels, etc.) well-stocked and organized.
- Cash Handling and Administrative Duties
- Process client payments using the salon’s POS (Point-of-Sale) system.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure all clients are educated on sunbed safety and are aware of any necessary precautions.
- Promote the use of protective eyewear and provide information on safe tanning practices.
- Ensure that all equipment is operating safely and according to health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other salon staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Share knowledge of new products, services, and promotions with colleagues to drive sales and improve customer service.
