The opportunity
Are you ready to power the future with Hitachi Energy? Join our innovative team as a Sales Manager Grid Integration and play a crucial role in shaping the energy landscape.
Your responsibilities:
Develop and execute the sales strategy for the assigned Business Unit or Product Group, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Drive the achievement of both qualitative and quantitative targets for system offerings, contributing to profitable growth.
Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization, fostering a high-performance culture and proactive mindset.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales initiatives.
Ensure a comprehensive and competitive offering that aligns with strategic guidelines, including Gate and ‘Where To Play’ processes.
Exceed sales targets by delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Manage a team of experienced professionals, providing direction while allowing autonomy in their roles.
Implement policies and strategies to achieve short-term results (typically within one year).
Address and resolve complex challenges, applying sound judgment and strategic thinking.
Influence stakeholders beyond your immediate team, shaping policies, practices, and procedures across the organization.
Your background
Proven experience in sales leadership within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors, ideally with a focus on grid integration or power systems.
Strong understanding of high-voltage direct current (HVDC), substations, or related grid technologies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Experience managing and coaching high-performing sales teams across diverse markets and cultures.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Familiarity with project-based sales cycles and complex solution selling.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
