McCarren Meats, part of the Kepak Group, is currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Support Administrator to join its Sales team in its busy pork and bacon processing plant.
Role Purpose:
You will assist the sales team in the day to day management of all client accounts and maintain and improve current customer service levels by providing excellent sales co-ordination and sales administration.
Reports to:
Head of Sales Support / Sales support Lead
Key Responsibilities:
· All aspects of sales administration – order processing, maintenance and administration of price files, management and recording of claims etc.
· Proactively contribute to the sales/order closing process with existing accounts
· Debtor management: following up on all customer claims and ensuring timely payment of all invoices and issuing of credit notes
· Monitor and co-ordinate customer satisfaction and complaints
· Prepare monthly/weekly reports for the sales team
· Prepare presentations and collect market data
· Assist Logistical support and administration to ensure best customer experience.
· Build positive relationship with all accounts and contribute to good account management by driving solution of day to day customer issues
· Flexibility in carrying out other tasks and responsibilities which may arise in order to achieve the overall purpose and success of the Sales Team
· Releasing orders off hold in the system to a high volume in accordance to Group policy.
· Become fully proficient in all applications used in sales office to be able to give training and support to other team members.
Requirements
Key Competencies for Role:
· Essential: Full competency required in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management. You will be expected to manage your time in an efficient and orderly manner learning to prioritize tasks according to their level of importance and urgency
· Good team player: As part of the sales team you will be expected to work together with your colleagues to maintain and improve customer service levels. The emphasis will be on good cooperation and communication skills.
· Excellent customer relationship skills: you should be courteous and friendly to customers at all times and seek to develop positive relationships both internally and externally
· Actively seek to improve your skills and knowledge of all aspects of the business
· Ability to work on own initiative to find solutions to day to day issues that arise as part of the sales/order process
Strong communication skills with fluent English essential
