Description


We are looking for a passionate and proactive Sales Trainer to drive performance and growth within our Sales Department, which includes both Telesales and Field Sales Advisors. The desired candidate will help drive performance through impactful training, systems guidance, and quality-focused coaching. This role will support the continuous improvement of both new and existing team members while maintaining high standards of training delivery, sales compliance, and data integrity.
As a Sales Trainer, you’ll not only facilitate engaging sessions but also monitor the effectiveness of training through feedback, system reporting, and ongoing quality assurance checks. You’ll act as a key link between learning and performance.

Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver and co-deliver structured training sessions and workshops tailored to all levels of sales staff.
  • Assist in large-scale onboarding or team training events, supporting logistics, delivery, and follow-up activities.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to agents in the field or in the office, offering tailored guidance to improve performance. Regularly update training content to align with new products, systems, or sales strategies.
  • Carry out regular quality assurance checks on sales submissions, CRM inputs, and customer interactions to identify training needs or patterns and provide immediate coaching
  • Monitor and analyse performance data and compliance to adjust training approaches. Share insights with leadership to ensure consistency and high standards.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to agent questions around system processes and usage.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training guides, system how-tos, and learning documents to support field and office teams.
  • Maintain clear training records, attendance logs, coaching reports, and progress documentation for review and audit purposes.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the training process and collaborate with others to enhance the learning experience and operational efficiency.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Minimum 2 years in a sales environment, ideally with coaching or team support experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable using CRMs and internal data tools. Able to guide others through system usage with patience and clarity.
  • You pay close attention to accuracy and detail, and you’re confident in identifying and correcting process gaps or compliance risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You explain concepts simply, concisely, and enthusiastically.
  • Confident in leading group training and adapting your delivery style for different audiences and learning levels.
  • Capable of managing training schedules, tracking results, and maintaining accurate records.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to influence, support, and bring out the best in those around you.
