Fitz Scientific is a world class monitoring and testing company that meet and exceed our customer's expectations. Based in Drogheda Co. Louth we have a new position for a Sample Collection Driver in the North West region would suit someone based in Monaghan, Fermanagh or Glenties in Donegal.
Main responsibilities include:
Collect water samples in Donegal and deliver to the company’s laboratory in Drogheda on a daily basis.
Accurately documenting collections, deliveries and any relevant information.
Adhere to the quality and technical standards required.
Input sample details correctly and clearly in the system.
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements including the Rules of the Road Safety.
Conduct vehicle checks ensuring the vehicle is maintained and safe to drive.
Requirements
Full clean category B driving licence with 0 penalty points. Proof of penalty points status will be required from the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS).
2 - 3 years experience in a driving role.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and act with integrity.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Working hours Mon – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Full training provided.
Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland.
