SOLAS Health & Fitness is for everyday athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike and we are seeking a highly motivated, innovative coach or trainer to join the team.
We are looking for someone who wants to help innovate and make a bigger impact in Carrigaline, someone who’s passionate about teaching, coaching and helping. We do not sell the quick fix, we work on educating our members and our coaches and ensuring that our clients have the best chance to succeed in their fitness endeavours. We understand that fitness affects all parts of our lives inside & out. We have an inclusive environment that attracts and retains our members.
As part of the team, you will have an amazing opportunity to learn more about programming, increase your own self-leadership skills, contribute to the wellbeing of others and work in an inspirational team culture. We are looking for a TEAM PLAYER, someone who wants to give to others, someone who can coach and be coachable in equal measure.
We don't necessarily need the "finished article" but a good grasp of the basics of human movement, coaching, emotional intelligence and ability and willingness to learn are crucial. Being able to build relationships with cleints from all backgrounds is an essential skill. We want someone who is willing to learn, grow and develop with SOLAS as we continue to build our brand.
Job Requirements:
● Available weekday evenings and Saturdays
● Minimum: Certificate of Fitness and or/personal training qualification
● Ideally a Strength & Conditioning qualification or experience is desirable
● Amazing people skills
● Genuine care of clients is a must
● TEAM PLAYER!
The successful applicant will:
● Be aligned with the business purpose & culture
● Love coaching small groups and in a one on one setting, a genuine passion for coaching is a must
● Strong understanding and capability to perform and teach the following to a group environment: strength training, compound lifts, mobility, functional fitness & conditioning.
● Be willing to attend all relevant personal and business development sessions
● Be an ambassador for health inside and outside the gym
● Be a team player!
● Be reliable and dependable
● Living in the locality of the gym would be a bonus
Our business rewards team members based on the value they provide. Therefore we will discuss potential remuneration & bonus packages during our initial conversations. This way we ensure a fair value exchange is achieved based on what you could bring and the outcomes & expectations of the role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
