Position: Childcare Educator, School‑Age Care
Hours (term‑time): 12:15 pm – 6:10 pm (Monday–Friday)
Holiday Camps (school breaks): 8:30 am – 6:10 pm; full day camps
Contract: Permanent, full time
Pay: Fortnightly/monthly, competitive rate
Holidays: Approx. 4 weeks in August, 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week Easter (exact dates flexible)
What We're Looking For
- DCYA‑recognised childcare qualification, minimum QQI Level 5 or higher
- Proven experience working in a fast‑paced childcare environment with children aged 4–13
- A flexible, adaptable approach and ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
- Strong communication skills in English, both with children and adults
- Garda Vetting required, plus police vetting or clearance from your country of origin
- Two written references are mandatory

Typical Responsibilities
- Supervise, care for, and engage children in development‑appropriate activities
- Plan creative programs, games, and arts & crafts
- Monitor and document children’s progress and behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents and fellow team members
- Maintain safety and hygiene standards according to DCYA/TUSLA regulations
- Implement age‑appropriate learning
