About your team
This opportunity is to work in the Client Service Operations who acts, globally, as the focal point for internal stakeholders across a number of front, middle and back office services, and as central point of contact to ensure fund launch operational readiness. The team is responsible for fund changes including, new retail product launches including mergers, closures and re-purposes, market opening covering a wide range of registration and non-registration markets and trading broker onboarding and maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
About your role
The primary focus of your role will be to work with the other members of the Client Service Operations team supporting our key stakeholders across the various trading desks to ensure our funds are set up to trade with FIL approved brokers. You will be responsible for onboarding and maintaining brokers and overseeing / maintaining broker restrictions across various trading platforms. A key part of the role will also be assisting with managing KYC (Know your customer) requests, - liaising with legal and various business areas to provide counterparties with AML, FATCA, beneficial ownership information as well as bespoke broker documentation. The role will give you the opportunity to establish a strong working relationship with members of all stake-holders groups impacted by your projects and also strengthening the CSO function footprint in Gurgaon.
About you
You’ll be energetic, with strong attention to detail and keen to work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be organised and possess excellent time management skills and an ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise. As a self-starter, you’ll have the ability to run solo projects effectively but also to work as part of a strong team along with the ability to understand and follow processes and the ability to improve these processes. Experience of working in the asset management industry, with an understanding of front and middle office operations as well as knowledge of various fund structures is very desirable.
