The Opportunity

Join our multi-disciplinary engineering team in Dublin and lead the design of cutting-edge electrical systems for a diverse range of building projects. This permanent role offers excellent career development prospects within a collaborative and supportive environment. We are also open to contractors.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for projects across various sectors, from initial concept through detailed design, installation, and commissioning.

• Develop innovative and sustainable electrical solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and best practices.

• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.

• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project completion.

Does this role inspire you?

We're looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient individual with a passion for sustainable building design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:

• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification design experience within a consultancy environment.

• Demonstrated experience in the design of Building Services Electrical system.

• Proficiency in Revit.

We also value:

• Chartered Engineer status (or nearing chartered) with a proven track record in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant Irish standards and regulations.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
